Benefits and rewards

For anyone committed to a career in law at Osborne Clarke, the rewards are there, and so is the support. As a trainee, we're prepared to make a significant investment in your future. From the time you commence your postgraduate studies, through to qualification as a solicitor, we help you in a number of ways.

Course fees: We will pay your fees for the (GDL) Graduate Diploma in Law, and the Legal Practice course (LPC), providing you are not more than half way through the course when we recruit you.

Maintenance grant: We give you a maintenance grant of £6,000 per year if you are studying either the GDL or LPC full-time.

Mentor: When you start your LPC there is the opportunity to be linked with one of our trainee solicitors who will be your mentor.

Salary: Our salary rates for 2007/2008 are:

Bristol - £30,000 during your first year, rising to £31,000 in your second year.
London and the Thames Valley - £34,000 during your first year, rising to £35,000 in your second year.

Benefits: You will receive 25 days' holiday, pension, permanent health insurance, private medical insurance, life assurance and season ticket loan. Each office offers a range of leisure and catering facilities, such as a café.
