I am Osborne Clarke’s Head of Litigation.  I specialise in large scale litigation and arbitration.  In addition to dealing with disputes for businesses in the UK and Europe, I also specialise in disputes involving parties from Russia and the CIS, India and Asia.

Much of my work is in the Energy & Natural Resources, Technology and Financial Services sectors.  I have been described by the legal directories as “practical, responsive and to the point” and as having a “brilliant reputation”, and I lead a team that has been praised as having “vast experience, excellent individuals and significant international knowhow”.

I deal with large, and often very complex, disputes.  I have many years’ experience of acting in cases in the major courts and arbitral tribunals, and have appeared in many cases in the Commercial Court, the Technology & Construction Court, the LCIA, the ICC, the Court of Appeal, the House of Lords/Supreme Court, and the European Court of Justice.

My recent work includes advising on a $200m dispute relating to an energy joint venture in Eastern Europe, acting in a large group action of major significance to the water industry, and acting in a dispute relating to the implementation of technology to support a trading platform in Asia.  I have been a partner in Osborne Clarke since 1998.
