- Employment and Benefits Law
I’m an employment lawyer, handling all kinds of contentious and non-contentious employment issues for my clients. I love what I do and always aim to give my clients workable "solutions" to their employment law issues; I certainly don’t sit on the fence or bombard my clients with legal spiel. I have sufficient experience to have a good feel for matters; that experience enables me to have an instinctive feel for the merits of any claim.
I have a particular specialism in discrimination, maternity, TUPE and contractual-related issues, and I work for a wide range of clients, many of them in the digital business sector. I act for large multinationals and small owner-managed businesses, and I advise a number of companies parented in the US so am adept at giving a multijurisdictional perspective.
I’ve worked here most of my legal career, qualifying in 1991 and being promoted to partner in 1997. I’ve been doing employment law all that time, including a stint on secondment to the British Airways legal department, so I like to think I know how to give insightful advice.
