I advise on all aspects of intellectual property law and have experience in dispute, advisory and transactional IP work for clients across Osborne Clarke’s sectors.

My particular interest is in patent advice. I have advised OraSure Technologies, Inc. on a UK patent infringement and validity action in relation to a medical device in the High Court and have co-ordinated a pan-European patent litigation strategy for a US client. My experience includes supplementary protection certificate advice and I was the lead associate on the Generics [UK] Limited v Synaptech Inc. reference from the English Court of Appeal to the Court of Justice of the European Communities in relation to how supplementary protection certificate duration should be calculated under the relevant European legislation.

I have a Biochemistry degree from Imperial College and a Diploma in IP Law and Practice from the University of Bristol. I trained at Linklaters and qualified into their IP team in 2006 where I worked until joining Osborne Clarke in July 2010.
