Richard is a partner with Osborne Clarke who advises on all aspects of employment law including grievance and disciplinary hearings, unfair dismissal, discrimination and restrictive covenant/employee confidentiality issues. Richard appears as an advocate before the employment tribunal. Richard advised on the employment consequences (in particular the TUPE and collective redundancy issues) which arose from BMW's re-organisation and subsequent sale of Rover cars and recently advised on the employment aspects of Nomura's acquisition of Lehman Brothers. Richard previously worked as an in-house lawyer with the largest listed UK insurance broker.
