Paul heads up the Bristol employment team at Osborne Clarke. He has wide ranging experience across all areas of employment law including dismissal, breach of contract, discrimination claims and the management of employee relations.  He has particular expertise in advising on the employment and industrial relations aspects of commercial and corporate transactions, including in connection with PFI/PPP projects. Paul is rated as a leading employment lawyer in both Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500.

Paul has considerable experience in giving lectures and seminars, both for clients and for commercial conference organisers, on a variety of employment law topics including business transfers and reorganisations. He has written for various publications, including Croners and Tolleys and has featured on Channel 4 News, Radio 5 Business World Tonight and Radio 4 Law in Action as a commentator on employment issues.

Paul joined Osborne Clarke from Berwin Leighton Paisner in October 2001. Paul was at BLP for over 8 years and he became a partner in May 2000. Before that, he worked for a number of years as an Industrial Relations Officer for The Newspaper Society.
