
Catherine advises public and private companies on a full range of employment and work-related issues, including day to day workplace problems, wrongful and unfair dismissal claims and discrimination issues.
Catherine also has experience in advising on the employment aspects of business transfers, share acquisitions, large-scale relocations and collective redundancies.
Her recent work has included providing day to day advice to a large investment bank and advising on employment issues arising from the closure of/amendment to final salary pension schemes. She has also recently advised a ferry service operator on the application of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 1981 following the closure of its ferry service due to loss of government funding, and on individual employment claims arising from the closure.
