Maria graduated from University of Ulster with a degree in Business Studies, following which she worked in business development in Germany for a period of time. In 2004 she graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a law degree and trained at Morgan Cole in their Thames Valley offices.

Maria practices in all areas of Employment Law with particular experience in advising on grievance and disciplinary procedures, employee rights, unfair dismissal, discrimination and harassment claims.

Maria joined the employment team Osborne Clarke as a newly qualified solicitor in September 2007.
