Ralf is Head of Tax and also a member of the corporate team in Germany. He has advised on a large number of acquisitions,
including the restructuring of companies on a national and international level. He is legal counsel for a large number of
companies, in particular, mid-sized enterprises with headquarters in both Germany and overseas, whom he advises on corporate
and tax issues. Additionally, Ralf also has broad experience in criminal tax law, capital gains in particular.
He has more than 10 years experience in the automotive sector, in particular, car dealers and their relationship with manufacturers
and importers. He has been legal advisor of the Association of Mercedes-Benz car dealers (VVMB) for many years. His deep understanding
of the automotive sector, together with his broad experience in tax and corporate law made Ralf the advisor on a large number
of M&A deals as well as on the restructuring of companies in this sector.
Ralf has published articles on several issues of corporate and tax law and is co-author of "Haritz/Benkert Umwandlungssteuerrecht
(Transformation tax law) by Beck-Verlag. He is also a co-publisher and co-author of "Kooperationsformen Freie Berufe" (Cooperations
of Professionals) by Stollfuß-Verlag. Ralf is member of the German-British Lawyers Association. He joined Osborne Clarke in
August 2001.
