We were instructed on our first wind farm project in 1991, Carland Cross wind farm, a joint venture between 2 electricity companies and a renewables developer on a non recourse project finance basis. Even before this, we provided advice on intellectual property and commercial exploitation to very early stage investors including a pioneer who used cooking oil as a road transport fuel.
Today, we act for a number of the leading companies in this sector. We have acted on a wide range of renewables projects including wind farms, waste to energy, landfill gas and solar projects.
We are also active members of the British Wind Energy Association, the Renewable Energy Association and the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association.
